INGENIUM NOSTRUM

Durante siglos, las civilizaciones asomadas al Mediterráneo, un mar compuesto de muchos mares, han producido el pensamiento, el arte, la ciencia y la tecnología y desarrollado los instrumentos que han hecho posibles progresos extraordinarios para las personas y las sociedades.

Ingenium Nostrum es una pequeña muestra que recoge 25 inventos, todos ellos contribuciones de valor universal de la ciencia y la técnica mediterráneas con apasionantes historias y personas extraordinarias tras ellos.

Con esta exposición virtual la Fundación Séneca, esta vez en el marco de La Noche de los Investigadores – Mednight GTS- quiere unirse al esfuerzo por dar a conocer una pequeña parte de este inmenso legado y transmitir con él, algunas de las mayores creaciones y logros de la Humanidad, nacidos en este extraordinario espacio de encuentro e intercambio.

For centuries, the civilizations overlooking the Mediterranean, a sea made up of many seas, have produced thinking, art, science and technology and developed the instruments that have made extraordinary progress for people and societies possible.

Ingenium Nostrum is a small sample that includes 25 inventions, all of them contributions of universal value to Mediterranean science and technology with exciting stories and extraordinary people behind them.

With this virtual exhibition, Seneca Foundation, this time within the framework of the Researchers’ Night - Mednight GTS- wants to join the effort to spread a small part of this immense legacy and transmit with it, some of the greatest creations and achievements of Humanity, born in this extraordinary meeting and exchange point.
